1800s Silver Top Chewing Gum Advertising Toy Spinning Top and Whistle

This item advertises Silver Top Chewing Gum.  It lists a patent date of 1878.  When new it was both a whistle and a spinning top toy!   This gum was manufactured by Sibley & Holmwood in Buffalo, New York.
It is made of metal and measures approximately 1¼" in diameter.  See pics for best description.  Buyer to pay .50 shipping to any United States address.
The top/whistle came with a wooden dowel originally to spin it with which is no longer with this item.
