Description:
A beautiful crisp uncirculated banknote issued by The Bank of Scotland. This is the 28th October 1974 One Pound currency note. The banknote is green on multicolored underprint on the front. The front of the note displays arms flanked by two women in the center and the image of Sir Walter Scott to the right. The back has the same color scheme as the front and shows a sailing ship to the left, arms in the upper center and a medallion of Pallas seated to the right. The note has two signatures on the front, the date, and the serial number. This particular note has the serial number C/29 0837344 printed twice on the front in black. The note has a thin segmented security thread near the left edge. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
