The Crissy Doll was made from 1969-1974 by the Ideal Company. Crissy became famous for her "grow hair" ability. Crissy was a hugely popular doll and was made for years. In 1970 the Velvet doll was introduced as Crissy's younger cousin. Due to her popularity, patterns were made so that mothers and their daughters could make additional outfits for these wonderful dolls. Velvet & friends were made in the 15-1/2" / 16" size and I have a large assortment of patterns available for these dolls.
This pattern was originally created March 16, 1971. The copyright for this pattern has expired and it entered the public domain Jan 1, 2000.
