    Description

    Antique Rare Franklin MFC Co. Coca Cola Pepsum Gum Richmond Va Store Counter Jar.
    I'm not a Coca Cola collector, but I did get to list and sell a bunch of vintage coke items for a friends husband who has passed away. In the 70s and 80s he had an antique store and collected vintage coke items for his personal collection. I only have a few items left. This is one of them.
    I don't know much about these items other than what I researched on the web. My title and description are to the best of my knowledge as a novice non expert.
    From what I can gather, this is a jar for Coca Cola Pepsum Gum sold at drug store fountains. The Franklin Company purchased a contract to make and sell and use the coke name to sell their coke flavored gum.
    There are a few air bubble flaws in the glass jar from manufacturing. One of the bubbles has chipped on the outside but it doesn't go clear through. Please see photos.
    The size is 11" tall and 5" wide. It has only a few minor scratches. I don't know if they ever made reproductions of this jar. It is in such nice shape it is hard to believe it is almost 100 years old. I just don't want to represent something that might not be what I think it is. Please ask any questions you have.
