ARDOR DAMIANO ROVERA UNSMOKED 2020 METEORA FULL BENT APPLE ESTATE PIPE COMPLETE

Ardor pipes have been around for 100 years. That's saying a lot! Dorelio Rovera sourced well aged briar for decades and carved Ardor pipes while his son Damiano continued the tradition and took the reigns recently since his father Dorelio mostly oversees the business side these days. Damiano has become an exceptional and prolific carver producing some of the finest hand made Italian pipes one can find. This is Ardor's Meteora series which was introduced about 15 years ago I believe and modeled after Greek Orthodox Monastery architecture and design. Each one is unique coming in a variety of finishes, sizes and shapes. This almost full bent Apple has yet to see flame and offers a fantastic muscular profile. The bowl is quite stout and due to it's rounded shape cradles in hand perfectly. Tons of briar surrounds a deep and generous chamber and I would be surprised if any heat is felt while smoking this beautiful pipe. The thick shank transitions in a 3/4+ bend and is capped with a brilliant Sterling Silver mount which holds the hand-cut acrylic spade style fishtail stem with inlaid blue and metal dot logo. Finish is a deep chestnut with the carvings and rustication showing immense attention to detail and displaying an incredible look while also providing awesome hand feel. Comes complete with original box, sock and papers this unsmoked Ardor Meteora is not to be missed!
