Rare and original, ca1910 Chromolithograph "Sen-Sen Chewing Gum" Product Package Box / Countertop Display Box. This early 20th century, two piece, Chewing Gum Advertising Box is made of paperboard and measures approx. 5 1/8” by 6 1/2” by 1 1/4” deep. It originally contained 40 Packages Sen-Sen Chewing Gum manufactured by The Sen-Sen Gum Co. of Rochester, New York.
This fantastic Product Package / Countertop Display Box is made of paperboard and features images of a 5¢ Pack of Sen-Sen Chewing Gum on each of the side flaps and the top panel of the lid. Text on each side panel of the lid reads “Sen-Sen Gum” and text on the top panel reads “Sen-Sen Gum” and “Sen-Sen Flavor”.
This Advertising Product Package Box would have been displayed with the lid removed (or with the lid positioned as a marquis) revealing the neatly stacked packages of Sen-Sen Chewing Gum in the base of the Box.
This very rare and original, early 20th century Sen Sen Chewing Gum, Product Package Box is in very good condition and displays nicely. Both the lid and the base are sound and intact with all side flaps present and all corner junctions firmly attached. The surfaces of the lid have some soiling and some light surface wear at the extremities but overall the Box is well preserved.
