Celestron Super C8 Plus Starbright Coatings Equatorial Mount Many Extras Nice!

For sale is a later 90's CELESTRON Super C8 Plus with Starbright Coatings.
This telescope has had one owner and has been well taken care of.  The OTA and lenses and drive corrector were always in padded/protected, dry storage when not in use, and the tripod and wedge were stored indoors when not in use.  Collimation is great and images are crystal clear.  The optical coatings are in like new condition.  No scratches or damage.  Reason for selling is a newer telescope purchase.  It has never observed the sun or been outside in hot weather.

Condition is as pictured.
Motor drive and drive corrector work just fine.  One cord provided for the Telescope drive.  Another will be needed for the drive corrector.
One tripod leg no longer tightens with the original knob, but an 1-7/8" shaft collar has been placed on the leg and can be tightened up nicely to hold the leg.  I often left the three legs at my preferred height with the shaft collar tightened on the one.  Allen wrench included for the shaft collar.
Pickup preferred.  Personal delivery within 50 miles of Akron, Ohio.  Shipping UPS insured in three boxes (OTA, Fork Mount, Tripod) to the lower 48 US ONLY.  Shipping/handling/insurance 0.  I will cover any overage.
