    Chilean Artisan Handcrafted & Signed
    This was given to me by a Foreign Exchange student from Chile in the 1980's. She spent a year attending our high school & living with a couple we were friends with. It's never been used & has always been kept in my china cabinet. But now I have to start downsizing & I'm looking for a good home for this beautiful unique piece.
    Combarbalita stone which is native to Chile, has very beautiful colors similar to marble. Hopefully you can see the different colors in my pictures. It is marked by hand on the back but it's so hard to read that my husband had to use his high-power microscope with a light to get as much as he could in my last two pictures. I know that the 'Combarbala' is partially cut off, but we couldn't get a complete picture of it. I think it would make a wonderful spoon rest or a trinket dish, but maybe you have another idea. It's quite heavy & the craftsmanship is beautiful & very smooth!
