    Description

    Coolgear aluminum external 3.5" hard drive enclosure with FireWire 800/400, USB 2.0, and eSATA interfaces. Comes preassembled with Western Digital 750 GB 7200 rpm drive exFAT formatted for immediate use with either Mac or PC. Drive can be reformatted prior to use to suit specific needs. No software included. If using enclosure only with own hard drive, maximum capacity is likely 2 TB (not sure, but have used successfully with 1.5 TB drive).
    Enclosure is 8 3/8" x 4 1/2" x 1 3/8" and made of aluminum for efficient heat dissipation. Enclosure is relatively quiet, but does have a small fan and consequently some fan noise. Includes AC adapter, FireWire 800, FireWire 400, USB, and eSATA cables. Also includes a two-piece aluminum stand and copy of original instructions. No box, but will be packed securely.
    Will guarantee that the hard drive will be fully functional on delivery, but all hard drives, new and old, are susceptible to failure at any time so always make sure any critical data is backed up.
