For Sale is a lovely original ceramic Pot which has a Geometric Incised design made and signed (see photos) by Nicaraguan artist Darwin Calero Potosme.

About Darwin Calero Potosme
Darwing is a young up-and-coming artist in San Juan.
He and his wife operate
a small workshop out of their home
with one kick wheel and a dirt floor.
He produces finely
detailed geometric designs and commonly includes two
different geometric patterns on a single piece.  He uses
brilliant oxide paints
to decorate his pieces with great
attention to detail of his geometric designs.
Darwing has been producing pottery for the past 15 years.  They have no other
employees other than their two children, ages 15 and 17.  At this point the son and daughter are just beginning to help with the production of pottery and are
learning the art from Darwing.  He in turn learned his skill from his parents, which is typical for most artists in San Juan. While Darwing produces a variety of traditional pieces, he specializes in geometric designs.
