Don Carlos XLong Lovat tobacco pipe.....

Thank goodness Bruto Sordini and his wife's Don Carlos pipe shop is still actively making pipes.   His air-cured Italian briar, exquisite shapes and awesome grain pipes are world renowed.   And his engineering, fit and finish and attention to detail rivals ANY Italian pipe firm today.  Period!  And...damn they smoke incredibly.   But we Dan Carlos fans know that.    I have said this before MANY times here on Ebay but I hope the pictures do this wonderful pipe justice.   Check out the great Flame- Grain on both sides of the bowel and shank.  INCREDIBLE....and it is a '2' note!!. And it is of his early made and vintage old briar due to the 'white bar' logo.  There are NO scratches, shop wear, rim char or significant bit marks anywhere.   It is in Excellent condition.   Its overall length is a NICE 7 5/16 in.,  bowl height 2  in. tall, rim diameter is 1 3/8 in, tobacco chamber diameter is 7/8 in. wide..........making it a longer  Dunhill ODA 841  in size.    Happy bidding on this wonderful Carlos lovat
