For your consideration we offer a fabulous 1960s Hollywood Regency style cast metal and frosted avocado art glass pedestal compote. An unusual find in beautiful condition, this piece defines the look of mid-20th century decor that’s so hot right now. Standing 7.5” on a 4” scrolled base, the body is cast from an undetermined metal into the likeness of a Japanese Koi or dolphin fish and supports a circular frosted avocado green shallow bowl that measures 6” in diameter. A few light and very minor surface scratches are seen on the bowl which is expected of pieces of this vintage, but there are no chips, cracks, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections found. Wear is commensurate with age and history of use, so please review the photos as they are a descriptive part of the listing.
