  • Condition: This item is in mint condition. It appears to have never been used and might have been handled once by original owner but appears to have never even been plugged in. All the packaging in the box is still original. The power cord has never even been unraveled although I did replace the rubber around the cord as the original band dried out. All pieces appear to included, one pocket in the storage box is empty but I believe the piece is installed onto the telescope. There is no cosmetic damage on the telescope but it has obtained a little dirt from storage for such a long time. Can be cleaned easily. Lenses and mirrors appear to be mint with a little dust accumulation, also easy clean. Overall this telescope really is in immaculate shape. The storage box does contain a little bit of cosmetic damage from being handled throughout the years, all very minute while the overall structural integrity of the box is still very sound.

    Description

    You are now bidding on a Questar Catadioptic Apochromatic Telescope Variable Focal Length: 45.5" f/13. Item is exactly as pictured. I am no telescope expert but I identified one telescope that was identical to the one in my possession and I used the same title. This telescope has never been used by the looks of it, its in pristine condition, as though it was opened once when presented and then stored in an attic and never looked at again. All visible pieces appear to contain 0 signs of wear and though I did not play with the adjustment knobs I'm sure they are all operational and functional.
