Irene Pasinski (1924-2002)
Irene Pasinski received a BFA degree in Industrial Art from the Carnegie Mellon University. She was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship and traveled to France to study at the Ecole du Louvre and Institut d'Art Applique a l'industr.
In 1956, she founded Irene Pasinski Associates and was an extremely successful businesswoman. She specialized in product design and graphics for major companies. She developed a variety of style and decorating techniques including ornate, geometric, and raised pattern designs so technically complex that few are practiced today.
The glasses for sale were designed by Irene for Mt. Washington Glass Works. The gorgeous colored stained glass pansy floral motif areas have a lovely 3 dimensional quality. They are in excellent vintage condition. The pattern design areas and bottoms show no wear. Few fine hairline scratches on clear glass areas. Only visible on close inspection
