    Description

    GREATER NEW YORK CHEWING GUM PEPPERMINT 2 STICKS IN ONE PACK MANSFIELD CO 1900's. Here is an ultra rare pack of Greater New York Chewing Gum. There is 2 sticks in one pack. Each stick is sectioned into 4 squares, a child could break off a piece while an adult could choose to break off a piece or chew on the entire stick. A unique concept. I only know this since I have a broken piece and cover and can see it. You will not get the broken sticks. Your pack has the paper that has a split on the end, there is a smaller split/flea bite on the other end. The gum is secure in the pack. The outer covering is colorful with no damage. Made by Mansfield Co around 1910 or 1920. This was probably 1 cent back in the day. Over one hundred year old double stick of gum that is not broken. Paper is brittle as to be expected.
