Loma CA. SIGNED Ceramic RARE 4 mugs / 1 Ewer/jug/beverage Blue / White Raccoon *

Description

This is for a very RARE collectible set of 4 mugs / coffee cups with ornate English style handles and a large pitcher type beverage holder.  It does not have a pour spout, so I am unsure what type of beverage it would of held.  It is really more like a stein in shape but the top is not pewter nor hinged.
It is so unusual I am unable to find anything like this set to compare it to and get a better description for you.  Each piece is hand painted on cream base.  The objects in the pictures are raccoons and trees and a raccoon in a tree.
The cups are signed B. Coy in the lower corner by the handle and the "stein" in the upper corner and are done in a soft painted stroking manner.  The name Loma is etched into the pottery pieces on the bottom.  Which is from the  Loma, California Studio Pottery, ca 1950s
*** The pieces are in wonderful condition with one of the cups having a chip on the outside of one of the handles, that has been repaired.  The handle of the "stein" has one small knick, both issues will be in the pictures. There are no other issues that I have noted, which is quiet amazing knowing this is from the 1050's.  ***
It is a lovely set for any collector of vintage ceramics, raccoon lovers or Blue and White lovers like myself!
Majority of my items for sale are pre-loved treasures that were most likely purchased at a local Estate Sale or a local resale shop in Arizona.  I may or may not know details but do spend time researching information to provide details the best I can and to pass along fair prices.

* Assume items are preloved and or vintage and such can have its own idiosyncrasies due to age alone and normal wear and tear.  I will state if an item is brand new and or un-used!

* I STRONGLY believe in reusing and repurposing of mailing materials, thus your item maybe packed in a previously used box and/or wrapped with previously used materials.  Please let me know if it a present and I will make sure to use new packing materials.
