Meade ETX-60 Refractor Telescope OTA - Finder Scope/Spotting Scope - Blue Tube

This is a Meade 60mm OTA (blue tube) from an ETX with a base that had problems that I didn't want to try repairing.
I took it apart, cleaned it, and made some improvements.
The mirror needed light cleaning and is in excellent condition.
The lenses are clean and scratch free.
These scopes have glossy internal surfaces (photo #8).  I lightly sanded them and spayed with matte black paint (photos #9 & 10).  I also painted the edges of the lenses black.  This will greatly reduce internal light reflection and improve images.
I added a 70mm dovetail bar with a 1/4" thread for attaching a mounting plate to use on a photo tripod.  It can also be mounted on devices with appropriate dovetail plate.  A longer bar could not be attached.  As is, it is forward heavy even with an eyepiece and you would not be able to balance it on an EQ mount.  Of course you can use it on an ETX-60/70 mount, if you have a good one with a bad tube.
It comes as pictured, with eyepiece dust plug and rear cap.  It does not come with a front lens cap.
