This listing is for a pair of late 19th century 'Montiel' bowls from the 'Montiel Family Studio' in Antigua, Guatemala.
sBeautifully hand made bowl, used in different festivities as plates to serve the food. The bowl is decorated with yellow, fine light undulating black lines, and a thick light grey stripe in the inside. The grey background highlights the yellow leaves (3) and green net-designs. The bowl is glazed as a finishing touch. In the outside, a green undulating line decorates the grey background.
