    Description

    This is a pottery bull known as a Torito de Pucara, from Peru ca. 1950s. It measures 5.5" long by 5" tall. They were made in Pucara Peru since 1908 and sold as ceremonial and decorative items. They were some times filled with Chicha,(corn beer), and placed on the roof of houses as protection. Wonderful folk art! Email questions.
