Orion 10012 SkyScanner 100mm TableTop Reflector Telescope (Burgundy)

Description

For sale in this auction is a used but in like-new condition Orion Skyscanner telescope.
Included in the sale is a reflector telescope (Newtonian design with a 100mm parabolic mirror and 400mm focal length, a front cover and f/4 focal ratio), an EZFinder II, one fully coated Orion 10mm lens, and a Dobsonian mount for a base.
The image quality is extremely sharp and bright, and will easily bring in the Andromeda galaxy, the rings of Saturn or the moons of Jupiter.
It is an ideal grab and go scope for the beginner and is meant to sit on any flat surface.
But it can be secured to any normal tripod with its threaded 1/4 inch socket on the underside of the base.
The scope and base together weigh a little over 6 pounds.
Also included is a home-made but substantial carrying case that works very well for storage and/or protects the scope from flopping about in the car.
