    Pagan Lady, the 1931 John Francis Dillon tropical island romantic love triangle bad girl melodrama ("from the play by William Du Bois"; "Drama of a temptress tempted!!"; about a sleazy woman on a tropical island who goes with everybody, but when the nephew of a minister proposes to her, she at first sees a way out, but then realizes she is bad for him) starring Evelyn Brent, Conrad Nagel, Charles Bickford, Roland Young, William Farnum, and Lucille Gleason. Note that this pretty much forgotten movie is equal parts Maugham's Rain and Bizet's Carmen!
