Sherwood; musical numbers staged by Busby Berkeley, who was borrowed from Warner Bros., and he brought along many of his best dancers and showgirls; Berkeley managed to work with both studios by doing this movie at night while working at Warners during the day; produced by Samuel Goldwyn; about a delivery boy in "West Rome", a small town in middle America, who is hit on the head and wakes up in Ancient Rome where he is sold as a slave, and ends up at the royal palace, involved in much royal intrigue; after many adventures, he wakes up in the modern day, and he uses her new-found knowledge to become a hero!) starring Eddie Cantor, Ruth Etting, Gloria Stuart, David Manners, The Goldwyn Girls, Edward Arnold, Verree Teasdale, and Alan Mowbray.
