Sen Sen Chewing Gum Display Box Vintage General Store Gum Display Box

Description

Circa 1910s - 1920s cardboard display box that held 40 5c packages of  Sen-Sen chewing gum in various flavors.  The box originally had cellophane panels on the front and back with inserts that had different flavors of gum, denoted by the color of the ribbon on the package.  One cellophane panel is missing entirely and the other is torn.  The inserts are inscribed "Invaluable to singers and speakers" and the inside of the lid has more information on the benefits of Sen-Sen.  The box measures 3 1/2" tall x 4 1/4" wide x 3 1/4" deep and is in good condition with wear on the edges and soiling and foxing.
