SER JACOPO UNSMOKED INSANUS R1 APPLE ESTATE PIPE COMPLETE

The first time I saw the Insanus from Ser Jacopo years ago I thought it was just about the coolest and most whimsical design I had ever seen! Quite inventive, the Insanus is made to look like the shank was broke in half and then tied together as a repair yet we find a long perfect and precise draft hole drilled creating one fantastic profile. And yes, it passes a cleaner, wow! This gorgeous R1 remains unsmoked offering a muscular Apple shaped bowl with thick walls surrounding the generous chamber. The bowl is bulbous at the base and transitions to the thick round shank(s) that are tied together with Sterling Silver wire while towards the acrylic saddle stem we find another silver band offering even more brilliance. The R1 is finished in a rich golden reddish brown which highlights the deep and craggy rustication that almost appears to be blasted as well creating exceptional texture in hand and visual appeal. One of the more inventive offerings from Ser Jacopo, this stunning pipe awaits its first smoke and comes complete with original box, papers and sock and simply will not disappoint!
