    Description

    This etherial and evocative hand tinted color photo is by the famous Seattle photographer Asahel Curtis (1874-1941).  I believe the scene is Lake Washington ( a familiar subject for the photographer).  I think it dates to about 1915.  It is framed in what I believe is its original grey and silver Arts and Crafts frame.  The photo is signed along the lower edge

    .  If it were out of the frame I believe the negative number 38534 would be below his signature.  The image size is 18" x 13".  the framed size is 20.5" x 15.5". The frame is in good condition a bit of natural wear on the edges.  The photographic image is in great original condition.
