    Description

Tom Eltang certainly requires no introduction. This pipe was made for The Danish Pipe Shop and is called the "Copenhagen Series". Tom created the series in cohorts with Denmark's largest B&M with each pipe hand made coming in a variety of classic shapes/styles with beautiful finishes. This one remains unsmoked and is a lovely Danish take on the Lovat. It offers a Brandy shaped bowl offering a touch of forward cant while the chamber is generous for its size. At only 28g it is quite lightweight and well balanced, the perfect clencher. Shank is round and sturdy and extends to meet a boxwood accent piece adding a classy touch. Stem is saddle ebonite with just a touch of fishtail. The finish is a dark blast and while muted/fine it displays tiny birdseye craters and uniform cross grain while the rim is stunning and was left smooth in an orange contrast stain. Awaiting its first smoke, a fantastic opportunity to grab an unsmoked pipe from one of Denmark's greatest carvers of all time!
