UGSimple USB-GPIB Controller takes full speed USB 2.0 interface and powered by USB. It is the smallest USB to GPIB Converter and GPIB Controller in the world at present. It is a simplified version of UG01 USB-GPIB Controller.
UGSimple USB-GPIB Controller is compatible with IEEE488.2 and IEEE488.1
UGSimple Software
The software for UGSimple USB-GPIB Controller is UGSimple Software, which includes three main elements:
1) One is the UGSimple control panel (UGSimple.exe), which is user friendly Graphic User Interface (GUI). User can control the UGSimple USB-GPIB Controller by just clicking the buttons and inputting GPIB command.
2) Second is Application Programmable Interface (API) - cdecl, which includes header file LQUGSimple_c.h, static library LQUGSimple_c.lib and dynamic -link library LQUGSimple_c.dll. Users can write their own programs to control the UGSimple USB-GPIB Controller automatically in many programming languages(except VB/VBA).
3) Third is Application Programmable Interface (API) - stdcall, which includes header file LQUGSimple_s.h, static library LQUGSimple_s.lib and dynamic -link library LQUGSimple_s.dll. Users can write their own programs to control the UGSimple USB-GPIB Controller automatically in many programming languages(including VB/VBA). Even in Windows Office software, such as Excel.
UGSimple Software has been
tested on Windows OS: Windows
XP with SP3 (32bit), Windows
Vista (64bit)and Windows 7(
32bit and 64bit).
The API examples have been
installed with the software
together, including VC++,VB,
VBA in Excel and Python
. The examples are built by Visual Studio 2005.
The maximum length of a GPIB command send or a data read is 60bytes.
Binary data transferring is not supported on UGSimple USB to GPIB Controller.

A1: Yes. LQUGSimple_c.dll is written in C/C++ and export function in standard C format including LQUGSimple_c.lib and LQUGSimple_c.h. All functions in the library includes 'extern "c" '. Details on how to load third party dll, please search on google for
