Vintage 1950's Hawaiian Lauhala Label Red Cotton Sarong Style Bathing Suit.
Vintage cotton bathing suits from the 50’s are the best!  You will certainly be a stand out on the beach in this....it is such a refreshing change from the current swimwear styles.  It is classy and innocent and fun.  Pair it with platform sandals, a wide brimmed straw hat, retro sunglasses and you could wear it as a romper to a pool party. You would look great with an umbrella drink in hand!
The measurements are......Bust - 32”.     Waist - 26”.     Hip - 35”.
The label says 14.  That is a 1950’s size.
The design is an iconic Hawaiian floral.
There are two condition issues.  The shirred elastic panels on either side of the suit have lost their elasticity.  The elastic in the hems of the shorts have the same issue.  Other than this the suit is in great condition.  It zips in the back with a metal Falcon zipper.
