This auction is for the 19-1/2" tall doll. So, this pattern will fit dolls with measurements that are similar to a 8-3/4" waist. I include a color printout of the front cover, a black and white copy of the instructions, back cover and the complete pattern. Please email me with any questions that you have.
This pattern makes 5 outfits: Beach Girl, Ballerina, School Girl, Wedding Dress and Party Dress. The Beach outfit consists of Shorts & Shirt. The Ballerina outfit is sleeveless and has a full three section skirt, arm ruffles sewn to elastic, and Panties. The School outfit has a Blouse & Circle Skirt. The Wedding Dress is made with lace and flower trim. It has a full skirt and petticoat gathered to fit the bodice. The Veil is a circle of net worn with flowers. The Toni Doll was made from 1949-1953 by the Ideal Toy Company. She was followed from 1954-1956 by the Toni Walker Doll. To add to the confusion, American Character also made a Toni doll from 1958-1960. Toni was a hugely popular doll. Due to her popularity, several of the leading pattern manufacturing companies made doll clothing patterns to fit her. So, mothers and their daughters could make additional outfits for these darling dolls. The Toni doll was made in a variety of sizes: 14", 16", 19", 21", 22.5" and 25" and I have a large assortment of patterns available in each of these sizes.
This pattern was originally created  April 21, 1954. The copyright for this pattern has expired and it entered the public domain Jan 1, 1983.
