When I look at this pattern I think it would be nice for a Schoehut doll also. Franki say on the instruction page "We are about to make a dress for a lovely antique doll. One that is treasured and beautiful....A dress that you will be outstanding when completed.... Emilie was taken from a human child's picture. It is lovely made up and is a child's doll dress. It is suitable for both French and German, nice for both kid bodies and ball jointed dolls....." She then goes on to give helpful suggestions on material and instructions on how to fit what to do and not to do in sewing the dress. Franki was a profesional dress designer and was very talented she passed away in the 1980s
