Vintage Original OTIS SHEPARD Wrigley's Doublemint Chewing Gum Lithograph 1930’s in gold color frame backed in foam board.
Size: 42”(L) x 11”(H)
Artist Otis Shepard met was made art director by Wrigley, then the largest chewing gum manufacturer in North America. With his wife Dorothy, Shep, as he was called, created the iconic Doublemint twins.
Beautiful statement piece with art deco ladies graphic. Colors are still very much vibrant.
I can not seem to find the same advertisement anywhere which leads me to believe it is truly the only one of it’s kind surviving. Not confirmed but based upon my research.
Condition overall is VERY good! Ever so slight signs of age as detailed close up photos indicate.
This piece is wrapped in cellophane as pictured for protection.
I was told that this advertisement sign came from an old railroad station.
