Very early chewing gum jar that would have been seen atthe turn of the last century on the counter of your local General Store!
Nice & clean with no haze & no chips to the jar itself!
The lid has 2 tiny fleabites on the bottom of the ground area that fits inside the jar!
Both the collar of the jar & the outside edge of the lid are "ground to fit" each other & fit like a glove! No marriage here that you often see with this type of jar!
The early paper label is in remarkably fine condition for a jar that's 120 yrs old!
Absolutely the best example of this unusual jar that I've ever seen in the past 45 yrs!
