    Description

    This is a lovely, rustic, traditional, vintage clay pot in the shape of a bird. This is not a tourist piece.
    I have been told it is likely from Peru, but Central America also possible.
    Beautiful yellow ochre and brown glaze in a raku like firing.
    No chips or cracks.
    The glaze is unevenly applied, so clay is exposed in areas.
    Note: a ritual pot, it's base is somewhat uneven and needs support if standing up.
    Measurements: approximately 8 in. long x  5.5 inches high
