Folding Vest Pocket Pipe
England, Mint & Unsmoked!
Offering a MINI-MORO pocket pipe, in the “puck” shape made famous by Rolex brand. The MORO brand is a bit of a mystery. What I did find on Pipedia was in connection with Hollco International:
Hollco International of Chatsworth, California, formerly known as Hollco-Rohr, purchased the Wally Frank company in 1969 and at the same time became the US importer for Castello, Comoy, and the producer of Pioneer and other pipes. For more information see Wally Frank.
Not sure if that helps, as this pipe is made in England, and Hollco is a USA company, but Wally Frank had pipes from various countries, had to say. This pipe is called a MINI-MORO, and that’s because the pocket pipe is quite small compared to the rest I’ve ever seen. It’s also unsmoked and in mint condition. The shape is specifically designed to go into a pocket and take up little space. The stem is made to swivel back and forth for smoking or storage, and it works fine! The bowl is made of briar, and it’s in great shape. It’s a smaller volume bowl, with the draw hole coming in perfectly at the bottom back of the bowl, for combustion to the bottom of the bowl. The stem is vulcanite, and has no wear. Pipe weighs in at about .7 ounce. It’s freshly polished and ready to smoke, draws easy.
