    in a great looking unique shape 1722, with rich brown finish. The pipe is from the London, England plant and looks impressive, well made too. And this is the Middle of their Oversized design pipes, with
    GBD
    offering three Extra Sized pipes in the following order of size smaller to bigger:
    Conquest, Collector, Colossus
    , this being the second in extra-sized rating. It’s got a great design, smooth finish and pretty grain, looks sharp with the combination of diamond shank and slight oval bowl, rounded top rim. The bowl has a flat base so it can be set down while smoking, and the bowl has a slightly oval shape left to right, seen on the top rim. I don’t recall ever seeing this 1722 shape before, and it’s a nice one. The stem is obviously original, nicely cut of vulcanite, with the brass GBD rondelle inset in the top, which dates it to pre-1982 timeframe. I would guess dating to be late 1970’s to early 1980’s. Pipe draws easy with draw hole bottom center, weight is about 1.85 ounces, is freshly polished and ready to smoke, or keep unsmoked for your collection!
